About the 12V/130Ah Gel Deep Cycle Batt.

The Victron 12V/130Ah Gel Deep Cycle Battery is a premium maintenance-free sealed VRLA battery using Gel electrolyte technology. Gel batteries offer a longer design life of up to 12 years compared to AGM, and excel in partial state-of-charge applications and deep cycling. The battery features very low internal resistance for high-current discharge capability and uses lead calcium grids with high-purity materials for a self-discharge rate below 2% per month at 20°C, allowing storage for up to one year without recharging. Gel technology is more tolerant of elevated temperatures than AGM and provides superior cycle life at deep discharge levels. Supplied in a CE and UL compliant ABS fireproof container with flat copper terminals.

Application Guide

  • Lithium Smart (LiFePO4) batteries offer 5x more usable cycles than lead-acid at half the weight — ideal for weight-conscious motorhome and marine builds.
  • AGM and Gel batteries are maintenance-free and work well in budget installations or as starter batteries.
  • Always match your battery voltage (12V, 24V, 48V) to your inverter and charge controller.
