About the Centaur Charger 24/30(3) 120-240V

The Victron Centaur Charger 24/30(3) is a professional-grade battery charger featuring three isolated outputs, each capable of delivering the full rated current of 30A at 24V. It accepts a universal AC input range of 90-265V (45-65Hz) and can also operate on DC input (90-400V DC), making it suitable for worldwide use. The Centaur uses a three-stage IUoU charging algorithm (bulk, absorption, float) with battery type selection via DIP switch for flooded, gel and AGM batteries. An internal temperature sensor provides automatic voltage compensation at -2mV per cell per degree Celsius. Built in an aluminium epoxy powder-coated enclosure with IP21 protection rating, the charger features forced cooling with a temperature and current-controlled fan. Circuit boards are protected with an acrylic coating for maximum corrosion resistance, making it ideal for marine and humid environments. The Centaur is ignition protected and certified to CE and UL standards.
