About the Inverter 12/1200 230V VE.Direct IEC

The Victron Phoenix Inverter 12/1200 converts 12V DC battery power to 230V AC pure sine wave output, suitable for powering domestic appliances in off-grid, marine, and mobile installations. The full-bridge plus toroidal transformer topology delivers a true sine wave output with optimised efficiency. Continuous power output is 1200VA (1000W at 25°C, 850W at 40°C) with 2200W peak power for starting motors and compressors. Eco mode automatically shuts down when no load is detected and re-starts within seconds when power is needed, reducing standby consumption. The VE.Direct communication port connects to a GX device or allows configuration via VictronConnect on a computer or mobile device. User-adjustable low-voltage shut-down protects the battery, with intelligent automatic restart attempts. Protected against short circuits and overheating. This IEC outlet variant uses a standard C13/C14 plug format.
