About the Lead Carbon Battery 12V/160Ah (M8)

The Victron 12V/160Ah Lead Carbon Battery combines proven lead-acid technology with carbon-enhanced negative plate additives for significantly improved performance in partial state-of-charge (PSoC) cycling. Carbon additives reduce sulphation, extend cycle life, and improve charge acceptance compared to standard AGM or Gel batteries, making this battery ideal for solar off-grid systems where batteries regularly operate at partial charge. The battery features very low internal resistance for high-current discharge and uses a sealed, maintenance-free VRLA design. Lead calcium grids ensure minimal self-discharge. Supplied with M8 bolt terminals in a robust container.
