About the LiFePO4 Battery 25.6V/100Ah Smart

The Victron 25.6V/100Ah LiFePO4 Smart Battery is a high-performance lithium iron phosphate battery with integrated Battery Management System (BMS), cell balancing, and Bluetooth connectivity. Via the VictronConnect app, users can monitor state of charge, voltage, current, temperature, and individual cell voltages in real time. LiFePO4 chemistry offers approximately 2500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge — far exceeding lead-acid alternatives — with a round-trip efficiency above 92%. The battery is significantly lighter than equivalent lead-acid batteries and can be discharged to much lower levels without damage. Built-in safety protections include over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, over-temperature, and short-circuit protection. Can be connected in series and parallel for larger systems.

Application Guide

  • Lithium Smart (LiFePO4) batteries offer 5x more usable cycles than lead-acid at half the weight — ideal for weight-conscious motorhome and marine builds.
  • AGM and Gel batteries are maintenance-free and work well in budget installations or as starter batteries.
  • Always match your battery voltage (12V, 24V, 48V) to your inverter and charge controller.
