About the Skylla-TG 24/50(1+1) GL 120-240V
The Victron Skylla-TG 24/50(1+1) GL is a GL (Germanischer Lloyd) type-approved battery charger delivering 50A at 24V with two isolated outputs. This version features universal AC input (95-264V range, 45-65Hz) and DC input capability (120-400V DC), making it suitable for worldwide maritime use.
The GL type approval certifies the charger meets strict marine classification society standards for use aboard commercial vessels. The microprocessor accurately controls charging using the IUoUo three-step characteristic. Charge voltage can be precisely adjusted to suit any VRLA or flooded battery system, with external temperature sensor and battery terminal voltage measurement.
Built in a robust aluminium sea water resistant enclosure (Blue RAL 5012, epoxy coated) with IP21 protection. With a perfectly stabilised output voltage, it can also function as a power supply without batteries.
