About the Solar splitter pair MC4-Y, 1x M-2F / 1xF-2M

The Victron Energy MC4-Y Solar Splitter Pair (SCA520500000) enables the parallel connection of two solar panels to a single charge controller input, optimising energy harvesting for off-grid and grid-tied solar systems. The set includes two Y-branch connectors: one male-to-two-females (1M-2F) and one female-to-two-males (1F-2M). Together, they allow two positive and two negative solar panel cables to be combined into a single pair of cables running to the charge controller. Constructed with weatherproof, UV-resistant materials, these splitters are designed for permanent outdoor installation and long-term reliability in all climate conditions. The MC4 snap-lock mechanism ensures secure, tool-free assembly. Compatible with all Victron BlueSolar and SmartSolar charge controllers and standard MC4-equipped solar panels from any manufacturer. For connecting more than two panels in parallel, additional splitter pairs can be cascaded or higher-capacity MC4 branch connectors should be used.
