About the VE.Direct non-inverting remote on-off cable
The Victron VE.Direct Non-Inverting Remote On-Off Cable provides remote on/off control of BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers via the VE.Direct port. The charger is enabled when the signal on the cable is high (above ~6V) and disabled when pulled low (below 1V) or left floating. Designed for use with a VE.Bus BMS to automatically disconnect solar charging when required by the battery management system. Note: when this cable is connected, the VE.Direct port cannot be used for other purposes such as connecting to a GX device or VE.Direct Bluetooth dongle. Not required on larger SmartSolar models that feature an onboard remote on/off terminal.
